Lisa Serby has been working with my daughter for the past few years. My daughter was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy which has caused low muscle tone throughout her body. Her hands were particularly weak. As a result, my daughter found it very difficult to draw or write because of her challenges. Many other daily life skills were also affected by her fine motor skills issues. Lisa has worked very hard with my daughter, teaching her and encouraging her with the use of various hand exercises and therapeutic materials. I wasn't sure my daughter would ever be able to zip or button her clothes or tie her shoelaces. With Lisa’s fun teaching methods and incredible patience, she has enjoyed the challenges and can now do many hand-related activities by herself. Lisa has made a huge impact on my daughter’s progress, and I would highly recommend her as an Occupational Therapist for your child.

Lisa brings the perfect combination of head and heart to her work. It was a delight having her work with our son to help address visual motor coordination challenges that were most apparent when he needed to do written work. His penmanship improved rapidly. Thank you Lisa.

Highest recommendations! I have to admit, my husband and I were skeptical with the notion of occupational therapy. However, our son's school has been recommending OT for some time, so we finally decided to give it a try. We are glad we did. Lisa at OT Arts is wonderful! She has made various suggestions for our highly energetic 6 year old who would also experience outbursts of anxiety and anger. We have implemented Lisa's suggestions at school and at home, and happy to say it has been a great success. We have learned skills to keep and maintain our son's energy at an acceptable level. Sure, he still gets anxious and angry (but not as often....), however, we now feel better prepared to help him with it all. The knowledge we have obtained from our sessions at OT Arts has made such a difference in our household. Additionally, we recently met with our son's teachers, and they too noticed a change for the better. We are very grateful.

Thank you, Lisa, for your incredible work with our 9 year old! His handwriting improved dramatically in just six weeks, and your patience with him was unmatched. I highly recommend OT Arts!

Lisa worked with my son for many years. His significant needs place him in a 'severely disabled' category and his growth is measured in very small steps. Her dedication to a very fragile population and high level of professionalism was so comforting to a mom who can only hope that no one ever gives up on her child. Thank you Lisa!

Lisa Serby was highly recommended to me by a child psychologist that was assessing my daughter for anxiety and motor delays. My daughter has been receiving OT services with Lisa for 8 months, and we have seen immense progress with her motor planning/coordination issues, as well as her pencil grasp and toe walking. My daughter had an immediate connection with Lisa, due to her calm, approachable demeanor, and she truly looks forward to going to her weekly sessions. We are so grateful for Lisa and this early intervention option which will give my daughter increased ability and confidence for kindergarten this Fall.
