OT Arts is an innovative pediatric occupational therapy clinic that helps children ages 2-13 learn skills to maximize their independence while having fun and expressing themselves.  We are the only pediatric clinic in the Santa Barbara area conceived of, planned by and run using the unique skills, perspective and clinical reasoning of an occupational therapist.  OT Arts provides a safe environment with minimal distractions so that children can build the underlying skills they need to be successful while uniquely blending traditional occupational therapy techniques with creative self expression through art.

Ms. Serby, a nationally registered and California licensed occupational therapist, is the owner and director of OT Arts.  She received her Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy and advanced training in Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California (USC) in 1998.  Ms. Serby received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Brandeis University in 1987.  Ms. Serby has nearly 20 years of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist and has been working with children far longer as an artist, teaching classes in the parks and libraries of underprivileged areas.  She has resided and worked as an occupational therapist in the Santa Barbara area for the last 12.5 years.

The OT Arts clinic is located at 1900 State Street, Suite K in Santa Barbara.  It is on the second floor of the El Dorado building which is located between Mission and Pedregosa Streets on the mountain side of the street.  Ms. Serby is currently taking appointments for children ages 2-13 with weaknesses in the areas of fine motor, self-help, motor planning, sensory processing and/or attention skills.
